Coronado Scale-out NAS
The Coronado Scale-out NAS has been designed for businesses that require access to Cloud or Object Storage using traditional Windows or NFS protocols. The Coronado Scale-out NAS is equivalent to any other Windows or Linux NAS appliance including joining Active Directory or LDAP for security. Unlike other NAS appliances, Coronado allows users access to the Centos 7 instance to run native Linux Applications, setup security or send data directly to cloud over the local /s3 mount point. The Coronado Scale-out NAS accelerates and/or translates file based protocols into the Amazon S3 protocol and is ideal to store file data on Object Storage or Cloud Storage environments. All that is required is the bucket or blob credentials and the endpoint address of the S3 Storage and may be deployed in less than 30-minutes. The Coronado Cloud Storage Server is highly integrated with Active Directory adding user authentication and access control ACL’s to your Cloud Storage environment. After connecting to a share, users or current applications may use a simple drive letter from Windows or Linux/Unix environments to easily read or write to Cloud Storage while newer S3 Applications may also read/write to the same files.
